That perspective was also reflected in the works and authors that entered the collection. The exhibition "Luis Vargas Rosas. A museum to the rhythm of the contemporary (1946-1970)" brings together a selection of around 70 pieces that were incorporated into the Museum's holdings during his tenure. Works in different formats, techniques, themes, and periods; created by artists of diverse nationalities. Some of them had not been exhibited for years and others are unpublished for the public. Among the Chilean authors you will be able to see in the exhibition are Tótila Albert, María Fuentealba Oliveros, Luis Herrera Guevara, José Perotti, Juan Downey, and Eugenio Téllez. From other Latin American countries, there are Magda de Pamphilis, Benito Quinquela, José Antonio Terry, and Raúl Millán. European authors are also included such as Otto Dix, Conrad Felixmüller, and Christoph Vol -from the Dresdner Sezession group-, Elizabeth Guggenheim, Mariano Fortuny, and Joaquin Sorolla; as well as Americans Lee Mullican and Gail Singer, among others.
