Terms of use
In force since October 1, 2026
This is an English translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the official one and prevails if they differ.
1. What Salir Santiago is
Salir Santiago (salirsantiago.com) is a free guide to things to do in Santiago, Chile: events, activities, places and communities to get out of the house and meet people. By using the site you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Where the information comes from
We gather what organizers openly publish on their public Instagram accounts, websites, culture listings and ticketing sites. An automated system, with the help of artificial intelligence, reads those posts to extract the date, time, place and price, and writes a summary. If you view the site in English, the texts are translated automatically from Spanish.
There may be mistakes. Events change, get cancelled or sell out. Before you go, always check the original post or website, which we link on every listing. We are not responsible for changes, cancellations, different prices or anything that happens at the events, which are organized by third parties.
3. We are not the organizers
Unless stated otherwise, Salir Santiago does not organize the events and has no commercial relationship with those who do. A listing appearing on the site does not mean the organizer endorses us or has an agreement with us. Tickets and bookings are made directly with the organizer or their ticketing site.
4. Featured or paid content
If at some point a listing is featured because someone paid for it, we will clearly mark it as "Sponsored". We only feature listings from organizers who asked for it.
5. Images, names and brands
Flyers, photos, texts, names and brands belong to their owners. We show a small image from the post, credited to the organizer, with a link to the original, only to identify the listing. If you are the author or owner of something that appears and you don't want it shown, ask through the removal form (in Spanish; you can write in English): images are hidden immediately and we review everything else within 3 business days.
The site's design, the summaries and the way the information is organized belong to Salir Santiago. The drawings of places in Santiago were made by hand from openly licensed photos: their credits are in section 11.
6. Are you an organizer?
You can use the form to ask us to correct details of your listings, to remove one or all of them, or to contact you to manage your information.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the site for anything illegal, don't try to damage or overload it, and don't send false requests on behalf of other people.
8. Changes and availability
The site is provided as is. We may change it, pause it or stop offering it, and update these terms. The version in force is the one shown on this page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Santiago, without prejudice to the rights granted to you by consumer protection law.
10. Contact
Through the contact and removal form.
11. Credits for the drawings
