Meet Rodrigo Zamora, the artist behind "Tan lejos como pueda". Sala Ginkgo Rodrigo Zamora (Santiago, 1970) works with the contemporary landscape as a pictorial theme, based on images of public spaces and urban vegetation. His works fragment, crop, and superimpose these images through layers of paint, cuts, and patterns, drifting toward abstraction with color as the central axis. In Tan lejos como pueda, he presents nearly 30 works: paintings and drawings in watercolor, acrylic, and pencil, graphic work, light boxes, and installations. Among them is Cronografía, composed of 1,100 paper towels with pigment residue, collected between 2004 and 2026. With a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Chile, he has received the FONDART grant five times. He has completed residencies in Uruguay, China, and the United States, and has exhibited in Chile, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, and New Zealand. This is his fourth solo exhibition at the gallery.
