Josefina Guilisasti · "Empathy Exercises: Weaving the Living" Galería Patricia Ready invites you to visit Empathy Exercises: Weaving the Living, an exhibition curated by Alexia Tala at MAVI UC as part of the Triennial of Art of the Catholic Universities, in which Josefina Guilisasti participates. The artist presents Desborde, a work created in collaboration with the artisan and artist Nayadeth Núñez. The piece is conceived as a utopia of change in the face of the climate crisis and takes the Andes mountain range, the longest mountain chain on the planet, as a reference. Spanning between 7,000 and 8,500 kilometers, it runs along the western border of South America, from northern Venezuela to Tierra del Fuego, crossing seven countries. Rising within it are Aconcagua, its highest point, and Ojos del Salado in Atacama, the highest active volcano on the planet.
