#NationalVisualArtsDay🖼️ The Museo Violeta Parra remembers the legacy that Violeta Parra left in the visual arts of Chile, experimenting with unconventional materials and creating scenes where music, folklore, and the fauna of Chile converge in her craft. Considered a pioneer in our country's textile art, Violeta became the first Latin American artist to have her own exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts at the Louvre Museum, France, in 1964. 🎨To celebrate this, we share this arpillera that was created in the early sixties in Argentina and which you can visit in the Sala Canto a Lo Divino at the Museo Violeta Parra, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 17:30, at Av Vicuña Mackenna 37.
