✨ This was the opening of “La materia responde: El cauce, la grieta y la trama”, a collective exhibition that brings together the work of David Quitral Guerra (@david.quitral), Emilio Fuentes Traverso (@efuentestraverso), and Simone Verdugo Aguirre (@simon_esimon_e). The inauguration was attended by two of the featured artists, David and Simone, who shared with the public some of the processes and reflections that run through this exhibition, articulated around different materialities, techniques, and ways of relating to matter. The opening of this exhibition also marks a milestone for our space: this show makes official the name change of the former Sala de Artes Visuales Usach, which from now on will be called Sala de Artes y Oficios Usach SAO, thus recognizing not only our institutional heritage from the Escuela de Artes y Oficios (EAO), but also projecting it towards a space dedicated to the dialogue between creation, materiality, techniques, heritage, and contemporary knowledge. We thank everyone who joined us on this day and were part of this new beginning. “La materia responde: El cauce, la grieta y la trama” will be open… On the flyer: EXHIBITION OPENING "LA MATERIA RESPONDE: EL CAUCE, LA GRIETA Y LA TRAMA"
