Did you know that @blackchicken.cl started by delivering chicken by boat on Lago Rapel? March 2020: Llige and Daniel went to spend a weekend at Rapel and the pandemic left them there for nine months. During that time, Daniel took online cooking courses and learned how to prepare roast chicken using haute cuisine techniques: 24 hours of preparation, marinating, injecting, and slow-cooking. First, his family tried it, then the neighbors at the lake, then the friends of those neighbors. At the end of 2020, they returned to Santiago and set up a delivery service in Cantagallo. The business didn't stop growing: more menu items, more orders, more staff. In 2022, they opened their first location with tables in Las Condes. Today, the menu includes the best Korean chicken in Santiago, delicious burgers with coleslaw, homemade kimchi, and the house's own cocktails, like their spectacular pisco sour. We tried everything and left happy 🐽 Mind you, it's a bit hidden: you arrive at the address and have to go down one floor.
