A journey to the ancestral territory of the Selk’nam people arrives at CCC 🍃 During October, we will screen @VuelvoDondeNuncaEstuve (2025), a documentary by Constanza Vásquez Palau (@Constanza_Vas_Pa) and Andrés Morales Zambra (@MoralesZambra) that records the resistance of a descendant of the Selk'nam people against the systematic oblivion their ancestors have faced ⛰️ Thanks to @RedSalasCL, we will have two screenings in our micro-cinema: ▪️ Friday, October 9, at 18:00. ▪️ Thursday, October 22, at 18:00. [+ Cine-forum] Synopsis: In 1895, during the genocide of the Selk'nam people, 165 indigenous people were captured in the Chilean Patagonia and their children were given to settlers as servants. More than a century later, Fernanda Olivares, a Selk'nam descendant and executive director of the Hach Saye Foundation, travels for the first time to Tierra del Fuego, the territory of her ancestors that she has never stepped on.
