Discovering the historic heart of Santiago Our Tandem Santiago students explored the city's historic center to get to know some of its most iconic places. We visited the Plaza de Armas, the presidential building, the former National Congress, and the traditional Barrio La Bolsa, discovering part of Santiago's history, architecture, and urban life. Because learning Spanish also means living the culture, getting to know the city, and creating memories that go far beyond the classroom. Discovering the historic heart of Santiago Our Tandem Santiago students explored the historic center of the city and visited some of Santiago’s most iconic landmarks. From Plaza de Armas to the presidential building, the former National Congress and the traditional Barrio La Bolsa, they experienced the history, architecture and everyday life of Santiago.
