Wednesday, October 7, 14, 21, and 28. Time: from 10:00 to 13:00. In this four-session workshop, we propose developing a perspective that combines art, botany, and exploration of the environment. Using the gardens of El Mercurio as a living laboratory, we will learn to recognize the diversity of trees present in the city through their shapes, colors, textures, and structures. Based on direct observation, participants will be introduced to botanical drawing as a tool to understand and record nature. Through freehand drawing exercises, frottage, and the creation of botanical records, each participant will develop tools to observe, interpret, and represent the plant world in a rigorous and creative way. No prior knowledge of drawing or botany is required, just curiosity and a desire to look at trees with new eyes. The workshop will be led by professor Magdalena Pérez de Arce Ruiz, landscape ecologist and landscape architect. Member price: $96,000 General public: $120,000 https://www.clubdelectores.cl/taller-introduccion-a-la-botanica-a-traves-del-dibujo/ On the flyer: WORKSHOP: EVERY WEDNESDAY IN OCTOBER FROM 10:00 TO 13:00 AT CASA CLUB DE LECTORES
