We are announcing the selected artists for Sonómetro 2027! 🔊 We are pleased to present those who will be part of the Sonómetro program within the framework of the III Festival Espacios Resonantes: Architecture and Listening Festival. ⚫ Grand River / Aimée Portioli (IT/NL) ⚫ Cecilia Morales (MX) ⚫ Jorge García (MX) ⚫ Macarena Aguilar Tau (AR) ⚫ CO-DEC / Patricio González Cruz (CL) During January 2027, their works will be presented at Sonómetro, our immersive listening installation equipped with a 16.1 multichannel audio system, which will be located at the Centro de Extensión Artística y Cultural de la Universidad de Chile (CEAC), in Santiago. This device constitutes a space for experimentation with sound, spatialization, and collective listening, exploring new relationships between composition, architecture, and sound experience. This new edition will bring together different approaches to sound creation, exploring the possibilities of sound as spatial matter and the relationship between composition, architecture, and the listening experience.
