“Tan lejos como pueda” (As far as I can) turns the contemporary landscape into a pictorial subject. Based on images of public spaces and urban vegetation, linked to personal experience, saturated colors, cuts, and lines unfold, fragmenting and distorting the image until it borders on abstraction. The exhibition brings together around thirty works—paintings, drawings, and installations such as Cronografía and Horizonte, along with pieces like Idioma del maguey and Blue Vertigo—that highlight the artist's procedures: layers, repetitions, and shifts of paint toward new materialities. The title is born from a litany of verbs—to look, to walk, to think, to advance, to arrive—and invites us to move “as far as I can.” Rodrigo Zamora at Sala Ginkgo, Galería Patricia Ready.
