In the series Mad Men (AMC, 2007-2015) -about the creatives of a New York advertising agency in the 60s- environments appear with furniture designed during the first half of the 20th century and abstract art hanging on the walls. The protagonists -who assume and practice male hegemony- wear strict suits and ties, and the women worry about not crossing the boundaries of decorum.
