Friends in #Chile: Next Friday, October 9 at 19:00, we will present FASCISMO COSPLAY by @luisggkm at @galeriametropolitana. The author will be in conversation with Nelly Richard, Felipe Rivas San Martín, and Alejandra Castillo. In FASCISMO COSPLAY, Luis Ignacio García argues that the bewilderment we are immersed in is not a sign of an electoral anomaly, but of a profound mutation of which the Milei government is a symptom (as is Kast's): the decomposition of language and truth, the destruction of democracy itself from within. If Chile was the laboratory of neoliberalism in its origins, today Argentina is that of a new post-democratic far-right in international expansion. The ongoing transformation requires avoiding melancholic trenches and conservative moralism; it is necessary to explore the convulsive energies that the right-wing has managed to capitalize on and develop strategies that assume the ruins of neoliberalism as a possibility and a contested terrain. We look forward to seeing you to discuss these and other urgent issues, come join us! 💥💥💥 Luis Ignacio García is a professor and essayist, PhD in Philosophy, Regular Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba… On the flyer: GALERÍA METROPOLITANA Felix Mendelssohn 2941 - Metro PAC L6 CHILE - SANTIAGO PRESENTATION OF FASCISMO COSPLAY Luis Ignacio García with Nelly Richard, Alejandra Castillo and Felipe Rivas San Martín FRIDAY 9/10 19 H Free DOCTORATE IN PHILOSOPHY W CAJA NEGRA
