We celebrate National Dance Day 🩰 Since 2025, every October 19, Chile celebrates National Dance Day, in memory of the birth of the master Patricio Bunster. To celebrate it, CEINA is preparing a week of activities with a gala, student presentations, and open conversations. The program starts with the Dance Gala, where the career of Karen Connolly (@ciakarenconnolly), Evelyn Cordero (@evelyncorderoballet), and Ximena Pino will be recognized, in addition to the Compañía Generación del Ayer (@ciageneraciondelayer), which celebrates its 30th anniversary in October. On stage will be creators linked to the generation of the 90s: Compañía Danza en Cruz (@ciadanzaencruz), Jorge Olea (@jorge.olea.39), Compañía Generación del Ayer, Luis Eduardo Araneda (@luiseduardoaranedaalvarez), Beatriz Alcalde (@beatriz.pascale), Compañía de Danza Espiral (@ciadanzaespiral), Verónica Varas, Paola Aste (@astevonbennewitz), Teresa Alcaino (@teresaalcainocavied), Carla Lobos (@carlalobosbutoh), Luz Condeza (@luzcondezadallorso), and Marcela Ortiz de Zárate (@marcelaortizdezarate).
