Next Friday, October 9, we are opening a double exhibition that is sure to get people talking: "Naranjas y cometas" by Javiera Gómez and "Campos de interferencia" by Oliver Robles In “Naranjas y cometas” by Javiera Gómez, curated by Olivia Eguiguren, there is a review and re-appropriation of the different graphic and narrative elements that helped shape a “scientific imagination” through geology, history, and astronomy during the 19th and 20th centuries in Chile. Guided by the question of how to localize knowledge, the exercises are both an anchor and an invitation not to get used to thinking by looking outward, but to be able to speak together until we find our own words. In Robles' exhibition, in Planta Alta, curated by Benjamín Ogalde, various antenna-sculptures collect data generated by the public themselves as they move through the space, translating it into spectrograms that are projected in real-time during the visit. "For them (the antennas), we visitors are just individuals interrupting their effective communication. For us, they are analog-digital objects we have lived with since we have memory… On the flyer: NARANJAS Y COMETAS An exhibition by Javiera Gómez Curated by Olivia Eguiguren PROGRAM 2026
