The exhibition "Medio Conteiner" is structured around a personal experience of Hugo Leonello (Mexico City, 1977): the return of the artist and his family to Chile from Mexico in the nineties, in the context of the democratic transition and, particularly, the goods, furniture, objects, and belongings gathered during their exile that accompanied their return to the territory. Everything that returned with them had to fit into the space of half a shipping container, under the "household goods" category that Law 19.128 provided for returning Chileans. What does it mean to return halfway? The exhibition reveals a family's priorities and the distance between what was necessary and what was decided to be brought back. SAFA Activity, Santiago Festival de las Artes (Exhibition) · Providencia Circuit · Audience: All ages / Family-friendly
