Las montañas que me eligieron: Matt Maynard

“Las montañas que me eligieron” (The mountains that chose me) is a photographic exhibition and intimate visual essay by British photographer Matt Maynard, who has been based in the commune of Lo Barnechea for 15 years. Throughout a decade and a half of exploration and intimate contact with nature, synthesized in a record of more than 300,000 photographs of the foothills and high mountains of the Andes, Maynard captures the majesty, isolation, and atmosphere of magical realism that emanates from the mountain range. The exhibition proposes a sensitive journey into the bond between local identity and the imposing Andean geography that embraces the commune. 🗓️October 28 to February 28 📍Galería 18 👉Free entry On the flyer: EXHIBITION MATT MAYNARD: LAS MONTAÑAS QUE ME ELIGIERON OCT 28 TO FEB 28 GALERÍA 18, LA VIRGEN STATION, CERRO 18 ELEVATOR, LO BARNECHEA
