📚🎨 One hundred years after his birth, the thought of Alberto Pérez reopens questions about art, history, and society. At the Foro de las Artes 2026, the book La criatura asolada. La reflexión estética de Alberto Pérez will be presented. It is a book by academic Rodrigo Zúñiga that revisits the work and thought of a fundamental figure for the history of art in Chile. Artist, art historian, academic, and former director of the MAC UCHILE, Pérez understood art as a tool for emancipation and social criticism, from a perspective situated in Chile and Latin America. The launch will feature a conversation with Gonzalo Arqueros, Arturo Cariceo, and Javiera Saavedra, to recover the relevance of his intellectual and artistic legacy. 📍 Palacio Pereira 📅 Thursday, October 29 🕕 18:00 🎟️ All activities are free.
