Bernarda Alba returns to our stage! After a sold-out season and a great reception from the public, The House of Bernarda Alba, by Federico García Lorca, returns to the Teatro Nacional Chileno. After the death of her second husband, Bernarda imposes a strict mourning period on her five daughters, locking them in a house where silence, surveillance, and appearances become law. Amidst repressed desires, jealousy, and a longing for freedom, the tension will grow until it challenges the order imposed by the matriarch. Federico García Lorca's play features an outstanding cast led by Claudia Di Girolamo, along with Francisca Márquez, Roxana Naranjo, Nicole Vial, Julieta Figueroa, María José Parga, Carla Casali, and Marcela Millie, under the direction of Rodrigo Pérez. Pérez was awarded Best Theater Director in 2024 by the Círculo de Críticos de Arte de Chile, a recognition granted for his acclaimed direction of Twelfth Night. Only 4 performances! 📅 From October 28 to 31 🕢 Wednesday to Saturday, 19:30 📍 Sala Antonio Varas, Morandé 25, Santiago 🎟️ Tickets available on Ticketplus and at the theater box office (check our hours… On the flyer: TEATRO NACIONAL DE CHILE UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE FACULTAD DE ARTES UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE BancoEstado 2026 SEASON La Casa de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca October 28 to 31 19:30
