🌿 Within the framework of #NationalEnvironmentDay, we want to highlight the progress of the project “Analysis of pilot experience and development of intervention proposals through ecological restoration actions in the Río Mapocho Urban Wetland El Monte - Talagante”, funded by the SEREMI of the Environment of the Metropolitan Region, executed by Travesa Consultora Ambiental and in collaboration with the Municipality of El Monte. During October 2 and 3, we carried out the third field visit of the consultancy in the Ecoparque sector, together with local organizations, students, and the community. 💚 📍 Friday, October 2 🌳 Together with Colegio Ecuador, we planted 16 native trees. 🌱 For its part, the Color Esperanza Rehabilitation Center worked on blackberry control, managing to remove roots and plant material, as well as preparing the ground for the following day's planting. 📍 Saturday, October 3 🌳 We continued with the planting of 13 trees, completing a total of 29 specimens, including maitén, culén, peumo, quillay, maqui, molle, mayú, tara, quebracho, and belloto.
