🏛️Did you know that the Museo de la Solidaridad inaugurated its first exhibition on May 17, 1972? Starting this Friday, October 9, you will be able to see one of the works that was part of that first exhibition. 🗣️We invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Tu Museo, tu Colección,” a show curated by Caroll Yasky (@carollyaskyp), curator and coordinator of the Museum's Collection and Exhibitions Area, and Laura Ibáñez (@la_uretra), curatorial researcher for the area. The exhibition proposes a journey through the history of the Museum and its collection, which since its origin has been built upon the relationship between art, solidarity, and society. The exhibition brings together 22 pieces that account for more than five decades of national and international donations and the diversity of one of the most important modern and contemporary art collections in Latin America. From the engravings of Eduardo Vilches, the cosmic visions of Georgi Poplavsky, the resounding portraits and self-portraits of Marilyn Boror, to the iconic painting by Joan Miró, painted especially for the first inauguration of the MSSA in 1972. 🎨 Opening of the exhibition “Tu Museo, tu Colección” 🗓️Friday, October 9. 🕕18:…
