This Friday, September 25 at 19:00, we invite you to the opening of "Medio Conteiner," by visual artist Hugo Leonello, curated by Macarena Bravo Cox, at Galería Solar. @hugoleonello @tres.a.eme @solar.galeria The exhibition "Medio Conteiner" is structured around a personal experience of Hugo Leonello (Mexico City, 1977): the return of the artist and his family to Chile from Mexico in the nineties, in the context of the democratic transition and, particularly, the goods, furniture, objects, and belongings gathered during their exile that accompanied their return to the territory. Everything that returned with them had to fit into the space of half a shipping container, under the "household goods" category that Law 19.128 provided for returning Chileans. What does it mean to return halfway? The exhibition reveals a family's priorities and the distance between what was necessary and what was decided to be brought back. We would like to especially thank the Embassy of Mexico in Chile for their collaboration @embamexchi and the Museo de Arte Popular Americano @mapamuseo We will be joined as always by @hastaprontobrewing •Friday, September 25 / 19:00 •Until October 22 •Free activity… On the flyer: MEDIO CONTEINER HUGO LEONELLO CURATED BY MACARENA BRAVO COX FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 19:00 AV.
