Discover another one of the exhibitions we are opening this Friday, October 9, at 18:00! “Del espacio de acá”, by Natalia Babarovic (@nataliababarovic) along with guest artists, explores the “backstage” of artistic production: the learning process, teaching, studio life, affections, and the way images circulate and inspire new works. The project takes its name from the book “Del espacio de acá”, by the poet, art theorist, and philosopher Ronald Kay, who posits that in Chile the landscape was photographed before it was painted, establishing photography as a reference that has marked the country's pictorial gaze. 👉The exhibition presents works by Natalia Babarovic along with works by artists linked to Taller 916, such as Christian Yovane (@chrisyovane), Antonia Teillery (@a_teillery), and Jorge Caperan Caperan (@caperancaperan), as well as the artist Francisca Chacón (@fran.chacon.c), who present different approaches to painting and its possibilities. Added to this is a selection of works from the MSSA Collection, chosen by the artists. Among them are works by Prunella Clough, Natalia Lach-Lachowicz, Zdzisław Jurkiewicz, and … On the flyer: Opening of the exhibition “Del espacio de acá” 🗓️Friday, October 9. 🕕18:00. 📍MSSA, Av.
