Cecilia: The song that never falls silent Born in Tomé and a central figure of the Chilean Nueva Ola, Cecilia Pantoja (1943-2023) was one of the most unique voices in Chilean popular music. Baptized as “La Incomparable” and winner of the Viña Festival in 1965, part of her repertoire includes songs like “Dilo calladito”, “Compromiso”, and “Baño de mar a medianoche”.
