FFAST 6, The oneiric house, opens this year in two directions. Two distinct buildings, one single question: what happens when art occupies spaces that were not designed for it, places where people already cross paths without planning to. Starting October 9, NIDO Lucía, the former ENEL building, formerly Chilectra, formerly Endesa, in the heart of downtown Santiago, opens its doors as the main venue for the sixth edition of FFAST. Designed to organize work life through open floor plans, open paths, and carefully planned transparency, the building preserves the memory of daily coexistence. Today, detached from its original function and in the middle of a reconversion process, that same architecture begins to be inhabited in a different way: encounter, creation, exchange. NIDO Lucía, from October 9 to 12. FFAST 6 nests in the image of the oneiric house, with which Gaston Bachelard names not the house that is occupied, but the one that is dreamed of. A house that can reappear anywhere the imagination decides to inhabit, and which since October 5 reappears at Mercado Urbano Tobalaba (@mut.cl) as a satellite venue.
