New exhibition at the Galería de la Memoria This Friday, October 2, we open Llevaban un mundo nuevo en el corazón, a new exhibition from the Memorias Compartidas project, which addresses the experiences of the Spanish exile after the end of the Spanish Civil War and the solidarity networks built between Spain and Chile. The exhibition, by Spanish artist Lorenzo Sandoval and curated by Soledad Aguirre, recovers fragments of these stories through textiles, archives, documents, and audiovisual works. A journey that connects the trajectories of figures like Belén de Sárraga and Buenaventura Durruti with the support networks that made the arrival of the Winnipeg to Chile in 1939 possible.
