Chafie Kifafi Duran @chafieart Graphic designer, graduated from the Universidad de Chile in 1978. My first encounter with oil painting was in April 2019; unfortunately, I only managed to complete 5 months of oil painting studies at the La Florida municipality. Then everything came to a halt due to the social unrest and the pandemic. I continued painting on my own, practicing daily and creating paintings to post on social media, first Facebook and then Instagram. Through these platforms, I managed to apply to several Virtual Galleries, being able to exhibit in Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. That is how I was interviewed at ES Gallery in Colombia, and later they also asked me to be a juror (all online). Between 2023 and 2024, I took classes again, in oil and graphite, this time at the Cultural Center of the Vitacura Municipality. Between 2024 and 2025, I attended an oil painting workshop by artist Cecilia Moya, also taking some watercolor classes. During my short career, I have managed to sell several works, which makes me enormously proud. You will be able to enjoy Chafie Kifafi's works throughout this month of October at our traveling gallery in Centro Parque; you can also visit our website www.lagaleriaa… On the flyer: Chafie Kifafi Duran VISUAL ARTIST LA GA
