BEATRIZ LEYTON AT GALERÍA MACCHINA On October 8, we will inaugurate the exhibition by Beatriz Leyton, a prominent Chilean artist and former professor at the Escuela de Arte UC, at Galería Macchina. The exhibition brings together a selection of works from different periods of her career, including unpublished pieces, and proposes a journey through her sustained research into printmaking, technical experimentation, and the exploration of new supports and formats. In Room 1, a restaging of part of the installation Family Life is presented, originally exhibited at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in 2007 and later at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Rosario Castagnino + Macro, Argentina. The collection includes the work recognized with the 2025 PAM Jury Prize. Room 2 gathers a selection of prints made since the 80s, mainly color woodcuts, which reflect the richness of her visual language and the constant experimentation that has marked her career. Through her work, Leyton addresses memory, daily life, domestic space, and the urban experience, building a sensitive and critical look at our environment. 📅 Opening: S… On the flyer: Beatriz Leyton Galeria Macchina Room 1 and 2 8.10.26 19:30 Escuela de Arte UC Campus Oriente UC
