🎼✨ From the Baroque to the 21st Century: The Instituto de Música UC presents nine free concerts in October 🏛️🍂🎶 With J.S. Bach’s “The Art of Fugue” and a guest keyboardist from Concepción, the Instituto de Música UC kicks off the month of October (Thursday, October 1). 🎹 📜 The 62nd Temporada de Cámara UC has scheduled three highlights. First, quartets by W. A. Mozart and G. Fauré with three professors and a guest Italian violinist (Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7). 🎻 Then, the Latin American premiere of Seven Pillars by Andy Akiho by the Grupo de Percusión UC (Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14). 🥁🌎 And closing the Temporada de Cámara UC, works by S. Rachmaninov for two pianos and for piano four-hands with two academics (Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21). 🎹 ✨ Additionally, the debut of the 1st Students on Stage Cycle, co-organized with the Student Center of the Instituto de Música UC. 🎓👥🎭 First, a program of absolute premieres by eight students from the Composition Department (Thursday, October 15). 🎼✍️💡 Then, the first of three presentations by Performance students, featuring choral, concertante, soloist, trio, and quintet formats. 🎻🎺 Six concerts will be held at the Centro de Extensión Oriente UC (Jaime Guzmán 3,300), with more to be added… On the flyer: October Chamber Season 2026
