⛰️On a day like today, in 1981, Chile saw Alturas de Macchu Picchu on television for the first time. Broadcast by Canal 13 and recorded in the Inca citadel itself, that encounter between the poetry of Pablo Neruda, the music of Los Jaivas, and one of the most symbolic places in America became an image that has accompanied this work for more than four decades ⛰️ 45 years later, Los Jaivas continues to travel this path and celebrate a work that keeps meeting new generations. And this journey continues tomorrow, October 9, and this Saturday, October 10, at the Teatro Caupolicán to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Alturas de Macchu Picchu. 🎶 In parallel, Planetario USACH will screen the immersive show in tribute to the Los Jaivas album in its 360° dome this Saturday, Sunday, and the holiday Monday at 17:00.
