The permanent exhibition «El folklore de Chile según Violeta Parra» will inhabit the “Canto a lo Humano” (first floor), “Canto a lo Poeta”, and “Canto a lo Divino” (second floor) rooms. With a deep reading of her work as a researcher, collector, and creator, the exhibition highlights oral tradition, folk singing, and the cultural expressions of the national territory. The exhibition includes work from the La huelga de los campesinos collection, the Centésimas (whose complete sequence will be exhibited for the first time), the unpublished painting El Invunche (museum collection, attributed work), along with press archives, magnetic tapes, letters, documents, discography, and photographs by Julio Bustamante, Sergio Larraín, Antonio Quintana, and Mario Guillard.
