Practical Chinese ink drawing workshop: after a brief introduction to its history, we will experiment with its materiality and artistic possibilities through various exercises—wet and damp paper, lines and layers, tone gradients, textures with salt, paper towels, and dry brush—closing with a free drawing that integrates what has been learned. For youth and adults, no prior experience required. Price: $15,000 per person, materials included.
