💃✨ Yolanda Heredia arrives in Santiago de Chile This October, La Academia welcomes a true master of flamenco: Yolanda Heredia, a Sevillian dancer and teacher with a 40-year career, whose specialty includes one of the most elegant and demanding expressions of flamenco: the bata de cola technique. Her history on stage began very early. At age 12, she debuted as a solo dancer at the renowned flamenco tablao “Los Gallos” in Seville, in addition to being part of the flamenco group of her father, the prestigious singer Jesús Heredia. Throughout her career, Yolanda has studied with great flamenco masters such as Manolo Marín, Enrique “El Cojo”, Farruco, Mario Maya, and Milagros Menjíbar. Her career has also led her to participate in important festivals in Spain, Japan, Finland, and Mexico, in addition to receiving the National Award of Córdoba, Spain.
