🗃️✨ In a new edition of Desde el depósito, we want to show you how the CEDOC team responds to an inquiry. On this occasion, the question led us to the administrative collection of the Galería Gabriela Mistral, which gathers documentation from over 133 exhibitions held between 1991 and 2014. Catalogs, records, audiovisual material, floor plans, applications, and museographic proposals allow us to reconstruct the production contexts of each project, as well as learn about the changes within this cultural space. Among these documents are the gallery floor plans. Before the setup, artists and teams imagine how the works will occupy the space and how they will relate to the public. These documents allow us to observe how an exhibition begins to take shape. Today we are reviewing the floor plans for SCL by Alfredo Jaar (2007), Imágenes by Julia Toro (1997), and Te devuelvo tu imagen by Juan Castillo (1998). ☝️ You can consult this collection directly in the CEDOC Consultation Room. 🕙 Monday to Friday | 10:00 to 17:00 📍We are located at CNAC, Av. Pedro Aguirre Cerda 6100, Cerrillos. Ex Aeropuerto Cerrillos ✈️ | Metro Cerrillos. 📩 (contact on their Instagram) 🚗 Free parking. …
