VISUAL ARTS / 📸 RECAP 👺🖌️ 3RD ANANDAMAPU ART AND TERRITORY CYCLE 2026 - “MASK COLLECTION” by Natalia “Nato” Sanzana 👺🖌️ EXTENDED DATE We share with you a glimpse of what was experienced at the opening of the third exhibition of the “Art and Territory” Cycle 2026. A journey through the different techniques of the art of mask-making. Different materials, sizes, colors, and characters from Andean folklore that come to life in the hands of @natoboreal and then acquire personality and movement in dancing bodies. 🖌️🎨 In the plaster paste technique, you will be able to observe small decorative pieces that represent certain masked dancers from Peru and Chile (Maqta, pablucha, qhapaq olla, negrillo, and devils), as well as several figures that speak about nature and animals. In this work, the same processes that a mask undergoes are rescued, but in a small format, alluding to “party memories.” You will also be able to observe some masks made with different techniques; one of papier-mâché that represents the Teotihuacán culture of Mexico and another made of paper and plaster that belongs to a character called Saqra who dances at the Virgin's festival… On the flyer: 3RD ANANDAMAPU ART AND TERRITORY CYCLE 2026 - “MASK COLLECTION” by Natalia “Nato” Sanzana. Until October 23 - Monday to Friday 15:00 to 19:00. Centro Cultural Anandamapu, San Cristóbal 508 - Recoleta (Stgo de Chile)
