Before FIDOCS 30 begins, the Festival paves the way. During October, as a prelude to the thirtieth edition taking place in November, comes Camino a FIDOCS 30: 11 free screenings that revisit films and authors who have marked the history of the Festival. The cycle will also be a tribute to Patricio Guzmán, founder and first director of FIDOCS, following his recent passing. The journey begins with El primer año, his debut film, and reaches Chile, la memoria obstinada, a film presented in the first edition of the Festival in 1997. 📍 Cineteca Nacional October 1, 2, and 3 📍 Sala Cine Centro de Extensión UC October 8 and 15 📍 Sala K / U.
