Pintura sentimental by Bárbara Piffre presents an installation in the Gabinete Section display window, where the intimate, affections, and daily life become the subject of artistic work. The exhibition focuses on rooms and domestic interiors, spaces where objects, their arrangements, and relationships allow us to imagine those who inhabit them. Painting an interior is, therefore, constructing an intimate portrait based on what surrounds and represents others. The installation incorporates Jardín sentimental, an art-zine that brings together writing, photography, and drawing around four gardens, along with the first writings of the art-zine Pintura sentimental. Between painting and writing, the daily experience appears as a sensitive and personal space.
