Amanecer en ambos horizontes, a solo exhibition by Javier Toro Blum at Galería Madre, starts from an impossible image: a sunrise occurring on one horizon and not the other. What the title proposes cannot happen, and yet, for an instant, the mind tries to imagine it. It is in that moment of uncertainty that the exhibition is situated. The works are constructed from that same place of suspension. The light paintings work on the relationship between light and darkness, preventing them from separating completely: light appears, fades, and re-emerges. Added to these are watercolors that explore another form of indeterminacy, where shapes are hinted at but stop before closing. SAFA Activity, Santiago Festival de las Artes (Exhibition) · Vitacura Circuit · Audience: General audience / Family-friendly
